We'd like to introduce you to Iain Timothy Clark.
Iain was Born on July 25, 2012 at 2:03am. He weighed in at 7lbs 3.8oz and was 20.5 inches long.
He is the baby brother to two very proud sisters, Nora, age 6 and Elise age 3. He is destined to a life of smothering kisses and PLENTY of mothering!!
On the evening following his birth, we were given startling news. He was born with a congenital heart defect called Tetralogy of Fallot. This is a defect that will not get better on its own, in fact as Iain grows, the defect will become more of a problem.
We were told that Iain will require open heart surgery, possibly multiple times within his lifetime. His first surgery will be between birth and 6 months. Surgery is all dependent on how well Iain is doing.
This blog is our attempt at keeping our family, friends and church family up to date with Iain's health. Please check back to watch his progress and to see how you can be praying.
Ultimately, our desire is that God would heal Iain, either miraculously or through the gift of medicine and surgeons.
We covet your prayers as we attempt to walk through this unexpected trial, full of faith, with our eyes fixed on Christ.
